ORDINANCE NO. 48
AN ORDINANCE ANNE%ING
TO THE VILLAGE OF F'RID-
LEV, MINNESOTA, A TRACT
OF LAND LESS THAN 200
ACRES IN AREA, ABUTTING
UPON THE VILLAGE AND A
PROPER SUBJECT FOR VILL-
AGE GOVEHNMENT.
The Village Counci] of Fridley,
Minnesota �do ordain as follows:
Section 1.
Pursuant to a proper and suffi-
ccnt petition by a majority Of the
owners of a tract of land abutt-
ing the Village of Fridley, Minn-
esota, and described as follows,
to-wit:
The North �Ialf (Ni/z) of the
Southwest Quarter (SWi/4)
and the North Half (N'/a) of
the Southeast Quarter (SE'ia)
of 3ection 24, Township 3Q
Range 24, West, Anoka Coun-
ty, Minnesota
to lia��c said property annexed to
the Village of Fridley, Minnesota.
Section �.
That said land consists of 160
acres and has a residen! popula-
rion of 33 persons and is not a
part of any other village or in any
city or borough. That the land is
partially platted and partially un-
platted.
Section 3.
That it is deemed, after a public
hearing held on 30 days notice,
that the annexation of said traM
is for the best interests of the
Village and the territory affected,
and that the tract is so condi-
tioned as properly to be subjected
to Village government.
Section 4.
That said tract of land is hereby
declared an addition to the Viliage
of Fridley, 2Vtinne9�ta.
