' AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 435 RELATING TO THE SALE OF
INTOXICATING LIQUOR BETWEEN CERTAIN HOURS ON SUNDAY AND PROVIDING
— FOR A LICENSE 7HEREFORE
The Gity Gouncil of the City of Fridley does ordain as follows:
Section 2 of the above entitled ordinance shall be amended as follows:
SECTION 2, Licenses Required.
l. No person, except wholesalers or manufacturers to the extent authorized
under State License, shall directly or indirectly deal in, sell, or keep
for sa}e any intoxicating liquor without first having rec�ived a license
to do so as provided in this ordinance,
2. '!On Sale" licenses shall be issued only to hotels and restaurants.
3. No person shall sell any intoxicating liquor on Sundays without obtaining
a separate license for said Sunday sales,
Section 7 of the above entitled ordinance shall be amended by
adding subdivision 10 of said section; said subdivision to read
as follows:
10. The an,nual license fee for "Sunday Liquor Sales" shall be $200.00. This
fee is in addition to the fee charged for an "On Sale" license, Al1 pro-
visions of this ordinance pertaining to the "On Sale'� license shall apply
to the "Sunday Liquor Sale" license, insofar as practicable.
Section 12 of the above entitled ordinance shall be amended to
read as follows:
SECTION 12. Hours of Operation.
No sale of intoxicating liquor shall be made between the hours of
1:00 A,M, on Sundays and 12:00 Noon on Sunday, nor between the
hours of 1:00 A,M, and 8:00 P,M, on any primary, special, or gen-
eral election of the City of Fridley. No "On Sale' all be made
between the hours of 1:00 A,M, and 8:00 P,M, on ny eekday.
