ORDINANCE No. 57
AMENDMENT TO ORDIN- �
ANCE 23, WHICH IS AN ORDIN-
:1NCE RELATING TO A BUILD-
ING CODE OF THE VILLAGE �
OF FRIDLEY.
The Village Council of Fridley .
do ordain as folloWS:
That Section 13 be amended by �
adding:
Sub-section (b) Extra heavy �
soil pipe shall be used in all cases
and air pressure tests shall be re-
quired on all inside plutnbing. � �
(c1 A11 plumbing contractors
doing �work in thc village shall
be licensed annually. The license
Fr.e shall be$10.00 per year and
the license year shall be from
May lst to April 30th.
(d) Permits, separate from reg- .
ular building permits, shall bc �
required for all plumbing except
minor repairs. The fee shall bc
$5.00 for up to seven fixtures and
50 cents for each additional fix- �
ture. The fee for permit to � �
install septic tank, cesspool and
minor additions to existing install-
ations shall be a minimum of � �
$1.00.
(e) All plumbing rnntractors
shall have a State license in ad• �
difion to the Village license.
(f) Owmer may do glumbing on .
own home, without license, but
must otherwise camply with code
and must have permit
(g) Water line from municipal
water main to 'iouse shall be of
copper and not less than ?�i inch
in diameter.
(h) Separate permit, issued
�vith out fee, shall be required for
connectlon on to municipal water �
main and shall be a shut-off in-
stalled at the street line. ��
Section 16 is hereby amended �
by adding: .
Sub-section (b) Hereafter, all
wells producing water Por human
consumption shall be not less than
35 feet in depth. � �
