MOTION by Councilman Hamernik to waive the second reading and adopt�
Ordinance No. 813 on the second reading and order;publication. Seconded by
Councilm�r► Schneider. Upon a voioe vote, all wting aye, Mayor Nee declared

Mr. Ir�nan, City Clerk, stated t's is an amendment to the ordinance for
caznival fees. He stated the or nance now provides for a$600 fee for
carnivals which cover the entire . He stated the change recammended is
for a$75 application fee plus 5 pe day for each day the carnival runs
and a$200 deposit to assure eanup o the site.
MOTION by Couricilman Fi patrick to wa've the reading and approve the
ordinance upon first rea ng. Seconded by ouncilman Schneider. Upon a
voice vote, all voti aye, Mayor Nee de ared the motion carried
unaninbusly. ,`
Mr. Flora, ic Works Director, stated this proper is located in the
flood plain a'nd requires a special use permit for the a ition. He stated
the petitioner can o�nstruct a buildi.ng so that the addit'on can be raised
to the proper elevation and extend the elevation to preve t damage to the
additiory.
Mr. Flora stated the Planning Camtission recaRnendeci apprwal o� the special
use permit with the stipulation that the petitioner meet the el ' tions for
the flood plain area. Mr. Flora stated this would include a fill 15 feet
around the structure.
