AN ORDINANCE RECODIFYING THE FRIDLEY CITY CODE� CHAPTER
603r ENTITLED "INTOXICATING LIQUOR" BY ADDING SECTIONS
603.05 i10) AND 603.23� AND RENUMBERING THE PRESENT 603•23
TO 603.2$r AND FURTHER AMENDING CHAPTER 11� ENTITLED
"FEES"
The City Council of the City of Fridley does hereby ordaan as follows:
603.05 FEES
1D. Where approval has been granted as provided by this Chapter, for the
transfer of a license from person to person and where the successor licensee
has paid the fee for the balance of the license year, then the transferring
license holder sha11 have refunded to it on a pro-rata basis, that portion of
the license fee which represents the unused portion of the license year.
However, this provision does not prevent the City from charging to the
suecessor license holder an additional investigation fee as provided in
Section 603.05.10.
603.23 TEMPORARY LICENSES
� 1. The City is hereby authorized to issue a temporary on-sale intoxicating
liquor "license" to any club, charitable, religious, or other non-profit
organization whieh has its prineipal location within the City of Fradley and
which has been in existence for a period of not less than three (3) years 2t
the time of making application for this license. This temporary on-sale
intmc�cating liquor license shall only be issued for a social event oceurring
within the City limits and whach is being sponsored by the 17.censee.
2. The license shall be for a period of not more than three (3) consecutive
days and no more than two licenses may be issued to the same organazation in
the same calendar year.
3. The license may authorize the on-sale of intoxicatir� liquor on premises
other than premises which the licensee owns or permanently oceupies. Further,
the licensee may contraet for intoxicating liquor catering services wath the
holder of a full year� on-sale intoxicating liquor license issued under the
conditions of this Chapter.
4. Except an those anstances where the lacense holder contracts for the
catering of liquor services as provided in paragraph 3 above� the licensee
shall meet the requirements of Seetion 603.16.

� 5. Application for this temporary license must be made in duplicate on the
form as prepared by the Hlinnesota Department of Public Safety, Liquor Control
Division. The original of thi� applieation shall be forwarded by the Gity
Clerk to the Minnesota Depantment of Public Safety, Liquor Control Division.
The copy of this application shall be retained by the City. This application
must be made at least thirty (30) days prior to its requested date. This
lieense shall not be efFective unless approved by both the h°innesota
Commissioner of Public Safety and the Fridley City Council.
6. The annual license fee shall be provided in Chapter 11 of this code.
