A RESOLUTION OF THE
THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
ACQUISITION OF 6025
BLOCK 5, HYDE PARK
HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF
APPROVING THE INITIAL NEGOTIATION FOR
3RD STREET, N. E., LOTS 22, 23, AND 24,
WHEREAS, THE HOUSING AN� REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY HAS
APPROVED THE INITIAL NEGOTIATION FOR ACQUISITION of 6025 3rd Street, N.E.,
Fr�dley, Minnesota, further described as Lots 22, 23 and 24, Block 5, Hyde
Park
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority has received a review
appraisal for the afore mentioned property sett�ng a value for purchase at
$26,500; and
WHEREAS, in a negotiation meeting held with the property owners and the
Authority Staff on January 16, 1980, a purchase prtce of $29,491.88 was
negotiated; and
WHEREAS, this additional cost is ,7ustified based on the following conditions
1. Attorney fees for a condemnation hear�ng
2. Inflation costs since the appraisal
3. Additional staff costs in planning
NOWTHEREFORE BE IT RESOLUEO by the H.R.A. of the City of Fridley that the
negotiated offer of �29,491.88 for the purchase of the property at 6025 3rd
5treet, N.E., Fridley, Minnesota further described as Lots 22, 23, and 24,
Block 5, Hyde Park ts an acceptable purchase prtce; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLUED, that the executive director have drawn for execution,
and execute necessary papers for purchase of said described property.
