HRA RES 1987-02 - 00013809� RESOLUTION NO HRA 2- 1987 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIOIlVERS OF THE FRIDLEY HOUSING AND REDEVEIAPMENT AUTHORITY (1) REQUESTIABG THAT THE FRIDLEY CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZE CONSTRUCTION OF THE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS TO TRZPNK HIGHFIAY 65 AA�D WEST MOORE LAKE DRIVE AND (2) APPROVING AND AIITHORIZING THE REIMBUIZSEMENT TO TAE CITY OF FR.IDLEY, ON A MONTHLY BASIS, FOR THE COST OF THESE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on March 5, 1985, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (the "Authority") authorized the execution of a contzact with Short-Elliot- Hendrickson for the development of the final plans for the improvement and channelization of the Trunk Highway 65 and West Moore Lake ➢rive intersection; and WAEREAS, on September 11, 1986 the Authority amended the design agreement with Short-Elliot-Hendrickson to include the detail plans and constructlon of thz Highwaq 65 widening and West Moore Lake Drive intersection and preliminary plans for the Rick Creek Road improvements from Old Central to Highway 65, and WHEREAS, it is now necessary to commence construction of the intersectLOn improvements to meet the obligations for Lake Pointe Corporate Center pro�ect � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Fridley Housing and Redevelopment Authority hereby request that the Fridley City Council authorize construction of the intersection improvements to Highway 65 and West Moore Lake llrive at a cost not to exceed $1,661,784 40 � BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fridley Housing and Redevelopment Authority hereby approves and authorizes reimbursement of the City of Fridley, on a monthly basis, for the cost of the intersection improvements to Highway o5 and West Moore Lake Drive PASSED AND ADOPTED SY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITF DF FRIDLEY THIS 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1987 i i� � � � ,�� /�/� � [� �LL—G'�G`��`�c'/ ,.� '�C.- LyaF� LAWERENCE COMMERS CHAIRMAN ATTEST
