BE IT RES�,VED by the Commissioners (the "Commissioners") of the Housinq and
Redevelognent Authority (the "AUthority") in and for the City of Fridley,
Minnesota (the "City"), as follaas:
1. It has been proposed that the Authority amend Redevelopnent Pxo7ect No. 1
(the "Redevelopment Pro�ect") and modify by enlargement Redevelopment
Project No. 1 and the Modified Redevelopment Plan (the "Modified
Redevelopnent Plan") relating thereto �rsuant to and in accordance with
Minnesota Statutes. Sections 462,411 to 462.716, inclusive.
2. This Authority has caused to be preg�red and has investigated the facts
with respect thereto, a proposed modification by enlaryement of the
Modified Redevelognent Plan for the Redevelopment Pro�ect, defining more
precisely the property to he added to the Redeveloxanent Pro�ect, legally
described and attached hereto as Exhibit A.
' 3. The Authority hereby detetmines that it is necessary and in the best
interest of the City at this time to amend 6y enlargement Redevelopment
Pro�ect No. 1 and the Modified Redevelognent Plan relating thereto and is
hereby preliminarily approved sub�ect to Planning Commission review and
City Coimcil approval herein after provaded, sub7ect to final HRA review
and approval of necessary doctmlentation,
4. The Authority hereby requests the City Council to call a pubilc hearing to
consider the establishment of the District and the approval and adoption
of the Plan, to cause notice of said public hearing to be given as
required by law, and to take such other actions as may be required by
Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.521. The Authority further requests that
the City Council direct the Planning Commission oi the City to consider
and conunent on whether the Plan is in accordance with the Comprehensive
Plan of the City, prior to the publ.tc hearing to be called by the City
Council. The Executive Director of the Authority is hereby directed to
suYanit a co� of the Plan to the City Council for its approval.
5. If and when approved by the City Cotuic�.l, the Authority shall cause the
Plan to be filed with the Minnesota Energy and Economic DeveloFanent
Authority and placed on f il e in the office of the City Qerk for the City
of Fridley.
