HRA RES 2002-02 - 00002124HRA RESOLUTION NO. 2-2002 RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE DECERTIFICATION OF TAX 1NCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 15 BY THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY 1N AND FOR THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, upon the request of the Board of Commissioners (the `Board") of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Fridley (the "Authority"), the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Fridley, Minnesota (the "City") has established Redevelopment Project No. 1(the "Project Area"), and within its Project Area has further established Tax Increment Financing District No. 15 (the "Tax Increment District"), legally described on Exhibit A to this Resolution, and adopted a Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto on Apri128, 1997, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 to 469.047 and 469.174 through 469.1799, inclusive, as amended and supplemented from time to time. WHEREAS, the Authority has proposed decertification of the Tax Increment District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of the Authority that the decertification of the Tax Increment District from the City's Project Area be approved and forwarded to the Council of the City for review and approval.
