AN ORDINANCB,AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE CITY CODE
OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY AND RELATING TO THE CLASSI-
FICATION OF ADDITIONAL ZONING DISZRICTS.
The.City Counci], of the City of Fridley do ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section 45.04 of the City Code of Fridley shall
be amended to include additionally to the ten kinds of Districts mentioaed
the following: � ,
R-4 Districts, and Districts designated �
as CR-1, CR-2, CR-3, CR-4, CR-5, and CR-6.
Section 2: That C hapter 45 of the C ity Code of the C ity of
Fridley be amended by adding thereto Sections hereinafter indicated:
Section 45.101. CR-1 District. Uses Permitted. �
Offfces and office buildings for business and pro-
�� fessional uses, including banks, medical and dental
� clinics, post offices, laboratories, medical, dental
and optical, and harmless and inoffensive laboratories
accessory to permitted uses, in the same building.
Public utility offices and office buildings, tele-
phone exchanges.
Section 45.102." CR-2 District. Uses Permitted. '
Restaurants. Radio (AM or FM) or television broad-
casting stations and transmitters, and miero-wave
radio relay structures. Theatres, lodges and assembly
facilities having a seating capacity of less than 300
, persons, but not including outdoor theatres.
• Section 45.1U3. CR-3 District. Uses Permitted.
Art shops, professional studios, stationery, music,
barbers and besuticians shops, phatographers, music
conservator3.es, dancing studios. Cabinet makers,
jeweler.s, watchmakers, locksmiths, shctemakers, tailors
and dressmakers, clothes pressers�. Clothing, drug,
grocery, fruit, meat, vegetable and confectionary
stores and ahops. Hardware, sporting goods, variety
� � and notion stores, household appliance fixture and
furnishing stores and repair shops in connection
therewith. Job printers and blueprinters, �engraving,
� photoengr.aviag,�'lithographing and publishing plants.

SECTION•81.061 REQUIRING AN ON-SALE LICENSE TO �
BE THREE HUND1tED FEET AWAY FROM ANY SCHOOL OR ,
� CHURCH
� The City Council of the City of Fridley do ordain as follows: '
Section l. That Chapt�er 81 of the City Code of Fridley be
amended by adding thereto a section as follows: �
Section 81.061. No ON-SALE licenses shall be issued
for any building, room or place within 300 feet from any
public or parochial school, or any church, said distance
to be measured in a straight line from the building in
which such school or church is conducted to the main public
entrance of the premises described in the application for
license. Howevex, this restriction shall not apply to
� property properly zoned for a license under this Chapter '
when the location of the church or school is established
after January�l, 1965. No beer or intoxicatfng liquoY ,
shall be.consumed on the premises or grounds of any church
or�public school or parochial school. � .
