up a grQat deal of spacie, but this sonir�g requset does not includ� that.
Mr. Smith continued that Mr. 3alitermatl plans to ha,v�e buildinge twice in
sise what now exiets in Parael #2, but therQ are no plans at thie time for

It was explained that Planaed Develop�eat does not aeoeesarily assume

n�t follow the pattern of th.e temporary road which had bsen used by the
pablic.
Mr. Stecklein etated he thought the PD idea ie a big improvement ov�r
C-2-S. Fiie cvnaern has nUt been with Par�el #2, but with the iruntag�a on
Central Avenue. The zoni.ng on Ceatral �venue fn tr�is ares is now reeidentisl,
but he believ�ed you would be injecting the ossfbility of acnioarcial. He
felt the control we are ttir�g in tiere (PD� doea not adequatsly sube�itute
the control we now have �R-1).
Member Erickeon stated he felt the flinda�ental iesne was� are you goiag
tu t�ave businese or co�mercial area right next to the r►ice expensiv�e homea
and the park? Parcol #1 ie a relatively sme11 portion of ths larui and
there is a poasibility of multiple soning for this piece. There ie aleo the
posaibility of a request. in the fY�ture, of resoning for Lote 5 and 6. If
it happer�, it is more thau 13kely the�t they will have to be atopped there.
Multiple or double bungalorrs wuuld be a good buffer. We are trying to stop
thia tu protect the property of the people in the area and the perk property.

definitely not going to be single family dwellings as there is no marlcet for
them. PD will fit in three years from now.

Enclosed is the Northern Pacific Railway Company�s application for
rezoning of a portion of Lot 2, Auditor�s Subdivision No. 39, for construction
of a microwave communication tower and equipment building, with which you are
familiar. Also attached to the application �s a list of the property owners
within a radius of 300 feet of the subjec� site, together with a print showing
^ the site outlined by RED lines and the adjacent streets and additions. We are
also enclosing a plot plan showing elevation of the proposed tower and equipment
building and the general layovt of the site.
We notice that the application calls for the location and use of adja-
cent buildings within 300 feet. We hope to secure aerial photos to submit to
� fill this request, but from observations on the ground it appears there are
only a few single family dwellings, and a couple of duplexes on and near Main
Street North East in the vicinity of the subject site.
I am also enclosing the Railway Company►s voucher Audit No. 100685
dated October 31, 1966 payable to the City of F�idley in the amount of $40.00
as a fee for the rezoning application. I assume this matter will be put on the
Planning Commission�s agenda for the earliest possible meeting and we will be
