A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES
AND ELECTION CLERKS AND JUDGES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FRIDLEY,
MINNESOTA, at a regular meeting thereof on August 16, 1960.
Section 1. That on the 13th day of September 1960, there shall
' be a State Primary Election for the purpose of
voting on the following:
STATE OFFICERS
One United State Senator in Congress
One Governor
One Lieutenant Governor
One Secretary of State
One State Treasurer
One Attorney General
One Railroad and 1arehouse Commissioner
One Chief Justice Supreme Court for the office to which
Roger L. Dell was elected for the regular term.
One Associate Justice Supreme Court for the office to which
Thomas Gallagher was elected for the regular term.
One Associate Justice Supreme Court for the office to which
Oscar R. Knutson was elected for the regular term.
One Associate Justice Supreme Court for the office to which
Martin A. Nelson was elected for the regular term.
DISTRICT OFFICERS
One Representative in the House of Representatives of the Minne-
sota Legislature for the 44th Legislative District.
One Representative in Congress for the Third Congressional Dis-
trict.
One District Judge for the 10th Judicial District to which
Rollin G. Johnson was elected for the regular term.
COUNTY OFFICERS
One Clerk of the District Court
One County Commissioner for the Fifth Commissioner District.
Section 2. That the polling places for said election shall be
as follows:
a. Ward #1 - Hayes School
b. Ward #2 - High School
c. Ward #3 - City Hall
Section 3. That the polling places will be open from 7:00 A.M.
to 8:00 P.M.
Section 4. That the following people are hereby appointed to
act as clerks and judges for said election except
that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to appoint qualified
substitutes in cases of conflict of interest as set forth in
Chapter 4, Section 1.05 of the City Charter.

RESOLUTION NO. 105 - 1960
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING ARID ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL
STATE AID ROADS AA?D STREETS IN T<IE CITY OF FRIDLEY
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is entitled to certain aids
and benefits orovided by law in the location, establishment,
construction and maintenance of certain roads and streets in
the City of Fridley commonly known as Municipal State Aid
Streets; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that such streets be located and
designated by resolution of the Council of the City of Fridley,
and such location and designation be approved by the State of
Minnesota;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Fridley as follows:
1. In accordance with the requirements, of the laws of
the State of Minnesota applicable thereto, the City
of Fridley does hereby locate in the City of Fridley
and establish and designate as Municipal State Aid
Streets, in accordance with the requirements of law,
the following public roads and streets, each of them to
be identified by number as follows:
Municipal State -Aid Street No. 300 - 37th Avenue Northeast from
Marshall Street easterly to
a point approximately 200
feet East of the Great North-
ern Railroad.
Municipal State -Aid Street No. 301 - 57th Avenue Northeast from
Main Street to 7th Street.
Municipal State -Aid Street No. 302 - 61st Avenue Northeast from
East River Road to West Moore
Lake Drive, thence West Moore
Lake Drive to a point approxi-
mately 650 feet North of Moore
Lake on the east side of State
Trunk Highway 65, thence
southeasterly to a point
approximately 100 feet north
of the northeastern most tip
of Moore Lake, thence East,
intersecting Central Avenue
at a point approximately 150
feet North of Woody Lane.

Avenue to East Corporate
