A RESOLUTION APENDING RESOLUTION 67 -1960 ENTITLED
"ESTABLISHING WORKING CONDITIONS, ',,TATE9 AND HOURS
FOR EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED BY THE MUNICIPAL LIQUOR STORE"
WHEREAS, Minneapolis Local Joint Executive Board of the
Hotel Restaurant Employees and Bartenders International Union,
A.F.L. - C.I.C., Local Unions No. 152 and 458, as bargaining
representatives of the employees of the Municioal Liquor Store
of the City of Fridley, has presented to the Council of the
City of Fridley, a resolution relating to the working conditions,
wages and hours for employees of the Municipal Liquor Store of
the City of Fridley, and
WHEREAS, Article XII, [Wage Scale of said Resolution 67-
1960 is effective until October 1, 1960, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary at this time to establish a wage
scale for employees emnloyed by the Municipal Liquor Store for
the period October 1, 1960 to,0.ctober 1, 1961.
NOW THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of.the
City of Fridley, that Article XII of Pesolution 67 -1960 be,
and it is hereby, amended to read as follows,,to -wit:
Effective October 1, 1960, all bartenders regularly sche-
duled to work forty (40) hours per week shall receive Eighty -
eight and 50 /100 088.50) Dollars per week; all bartenders regu-
larly scheduled to work forty -eight (48) hours per week shall
receive One Hundred Twelve and 32/100 ($112.32) Dollars per week.
All part -time bartenders shall_ receive Two and 214/100 ($2.2125)
Dollars per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of four (4) hours.
Effective October 1, 1960, all waitresses working forty (40)
hours per week shall receive Qne and 222/100 ($1.225) Dollars
per hour; all short hour waitresses shall be paid One and 47/100
01.47) Dollars per hour. ,
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS
20TH DAY OF 9EPTEMBER, -1960.

A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRFT' IMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVIII.ENTS:
(STORPI SEWER A�'D SURFACING ON FILL'�OP.F AND BUCHANAN STREETS)
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed
to be ir_ the interest of the City of Fridley and the property own-
ers affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as
follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and Davis,
Inc., Consulting Engineers, is hereby received and accepted.
