A RESOLUTION RECEIVING ITM PREIDaNARY REPORT AND CALLING A
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE BATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
IMPROVEfvMNTS: (JACKSON STREET STORM SEER)
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is
deemed i;o be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the
property owners affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Fridley
as follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and
Davis, Inc. Consulting Engineers, is hereby received
and accepted.
2. That this Council will most on the 1st day of November,
1960, at 7:30 o'clock, P.A:, at the City Hall in the City
of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing
on the improvements noted in the Notice attached hereto
and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements
and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands
and areas as noted in said notice: All of the same to be
assessed proportionately according to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give
notice of such Public Hearing by publishing a notice thereof
in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley according
to law, such not #e to be substantially in the form and
substance of the notice attached hereto as Fxhibit "A ".

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
!dHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THE?FFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 1st day of
November, 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.h., the City Council will meet
at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place
hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in

A. STORM SEVER S "STEM for the Jackson Street and 66th Avenue Area
located in and serving all of the area described as follows:
1. 64th Avenue N.E. from Jackson to Able, Jackson St. from
Bennett Drive to Clover Place, 66th Avenue N.F. from Jackson
to Able. The property abutting the west side of Able Street
from 64th Avenue N.E. to approximately 200 feet north of
Mississippi St. The approximate acreage served is 21.2

THAT THE AREA TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS (AND EACH OF THEM)
IS AS FOLLOWS:

All of the lands abutting upon said streets named above and all
of the lands located in the following areas: 64th Avenue N.E.
from Jackson to Able, Jackson St, from Bennett Drive to Clover

Place, 66th Avenue N.E. from Jackson to Able. The property
abutting the west side of Able Street from 64th Avenue N.E. to
approximately 200 feet north of Vi_ssissippi Street. The aproximate
acreage served is 21.2.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve-
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter othenwise pro-
vided 1,v the Council all under the following authority, to -wit:
Minnesota Laws 1953, Chanter 398 and la +a amendatory tlereof, and in
conformity with the City Charter.
