A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS - INNSBRUCK ADDITION
WHEREAS, Resolution #13 -1960 of the City Council adopted the
16th day of February, 1960, set the date for hearing on the pro-
posed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing
attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, All the property owners whose property is liable to
be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in
said notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the
Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the re-
quired notice, and the hearing was held and the orooerty owners
heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution 413 -1960 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a. All of the imorovemerts as noted in the notice
of hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A")
in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other
areas as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be per-
formed under one or more contracts as may be deemed ad-
visable upon receipt of bids.
3. Comstock & Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, are here-
by designated as the Engineer for this Improvement.
They shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such Improvement.

RESOLUTION SETTING SPECIAL ELECTION
AND DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES AND
ELECTION CLERKS AND JUDGES
BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That on the 12th day of April 1960, between
the hours of 7 A.M. and 8 P.M. there shall be
held in the City of Fridley a Special Election on the following
proposed charter amendments, to -wit:
a. ELECTIVE OFFICES: Shall the Charter, Page 7,
Chapter 2, Section 2.03, line 6 be changed to
read: The term of mayor and of each council-
man shall begin on the first official business
day in the month of January next following his
election and shall end when his successor has
been duly elected and has qualified.
COUNCIL MEETINGS: Shall the Charter, Page 8,
Chapter 3, Section 3.01, line 2, be changed '
to read: on the first official business day
in January following a regular municipal
election, the Council shall meet at the City
Hall at the usual time for the holding of
Council meetings.
b. PRIMARY ELECTIONS: Shall the Charter, Page 11,
Chapter 4, Section 4.03, lines 2 and 3, be
changed to read: The Council shall whenever
four (4) or more candidates have filed-Tor any
citywide office or for councilman of any ward,
or wards, provide through ordinance or reso-
lution for primary election to be held, city-
wide or in any particular ward, or wards, and
such primary election shall be held on a date
not less than (14) days prior to the general
election.
c. PRIMARY ELECTIONS: Shall the Charter, Page 11,
Chapter 42 Section 4.03, line 11, be changed
to read: The Council may, whenever three or
more candidates have filed for any citywide
office, or for councilman of any ward, or wards,
provide through ordinance or resolution for
primary election to be held, citywide or in '
any particular ward, or wards, and such pri-
mary election shall be held on a date not less
than 30 days prior to the general election.
NO'4n:ATION BY PETITIONS: Shall the Charter,
Page 11, Chapter 4, Section 4.06, line 20 be
changed to read: All nomination petitions
shall. be in the hands of the City Clerk not

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 1st day of March,
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all parties inter-
