CITY OF FRIDLEY
INFORMATION TO BIDDERS
The City Council of the City of Fridley will accept bids on a
Police Car on the 3rd day of May, 1960, until 7:30 P.M., on said
date. All bids must most the minimum requirements of the speci-
fications. Failure to comply with this section can result in dis-
qualification of the bid.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond
in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid, which check or bond '
shall be forfeited if the bidder neglects or refuses to enter into
a contract, or to furnish a 100% performance bond after his bid
has been accepted.
The City reserves the right to accept the bid which is determined
to be in the beet interest of the City. The City reserves the right
to reject any and all bids, and waive all informalities or techni-
calities in any bid.
The City Council also reserves the right to consider such factors
as time of delivery or performance, experience and responsibility of
the bidder, past performance of similar types of item or material
availability of replacement parts, and other similar factors that it
may determine in the best interest of the City.
Copies of the specifications and general conditions may be exam-
ined in the office of the City Manager, or copies may be obtained
from his office.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly
marked on the outside that the contents is a bid on a Police Car.

RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
FOR ONE °CTJCE CAR
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley, as
follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to purchase
the following items or materials:
ONE POLICE PATROL CAR
2. A copy of the plans and specifications for the above
described items and materials, together with a pro -
.posal for the method of purchase and the payment
thereof have been presented to the Council by City
Manager and the same are hereby approved and adopted
as the plans and specifications, and the method of
acquisition and payment to be. required by the City
with respect to the acquisition of said items and
materials.
3. The purchase of said items and materials as described
above shall be effected by sealed bids to be received
and opened by the City Council on the 3rd day of May,
1960. The City Manager is directed and aathorized to
advertise for the purchase of said items and -aateri.als
by scaled bid proposals .under notice as provided by
law and the Charter of the City of Fridley, the notice
to be substantially in form as that shown by exhibit
"A" attached hereto and made a part of by reference.
Said notice shall be published at least 15 days or
through two (2) publications in the official news-
paper of the City of Fridley

IdHEREAS, Resolution #22 -1960 of the City Council adopted
the 15th day of March, 1960, set the date for hearing on the '
proposed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of
Hearing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, All the property owners whose property is liable
to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted
in said notics) were given ten (10) days published notice of
the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the
required notice, and the hearing was held and the property own-
ers heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
