A RESOLUTION ORTIFRING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS - CHANNEL ROAD
WHEREAS, Resolution #37 -1960 of the City Council adopted
the 19th day of April, 1960, set the date for hearing on the
proposed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of
Hearing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, All the property owners whose property is. liable
to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted
in said notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of
the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the
required notice, and the hearing was held and the property own-
ers heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution #37 -1960 are hereby ordered to be effect-
ed and completed as soon as reasonably possible,
to -rrit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ")
in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other
areas as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be
performed under one or more contracts as may be
deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. Comstock and Davis, Consulting Engineers, are hereby
designated as the Engineer for this Improvement.
They shall nrepare plans and specifications for the
making of such Improvement.

RESOLUTION NO. 51 - 1960
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVE-
MENTS: FILLMORF (T.H. #100 TO 53RD) 53 AVENUE (FILLMORE TO JOHNSON)
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed
to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property own-
ers affected thereby:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
as follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by the Engineer
Director of Public Works, is hereby received and ac-
cepted.
2. That the Council will meet on the 17th day of May 1960,
at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of
Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing
on the improvements noted in the Notice attached here-
to and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improve-
ments and each of them as noted in said notice are all
the lands and areas as noted in said notice: all of
the same to be assessed proportionately according to
the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized aAd directed to
give notice of such public hearing by publishing a
notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City
of Fridley according to law, such notice to be sub -
stantially in the form and substance of the notice
attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".

A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVDIFNTS, AP °ROVAL OF PLANS,
AND ORDERING ADVERTISING FOR BIDS: PARKVIEW OAKS
WHEREAS, the resolution of the City Council adopted the
Ist day of March, 1960, set the date for hearing on the pro-
posed improvements, as specifically noted in the notice of hear-
ing attached hereto for reference as EXHIBIT "A ", and,
WHEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable
to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted
in said notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the
Council hearing through two 2 weekly publications of the re-
quired notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners
heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City
of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements heretofore proposed by
Council resolution are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
-a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ")
in said notice, except (none); that the work in-
volved in said improvements as listed above shall
be consolidated as one improvement and shall here-
after be designated as:

CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 17th day of May,
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all parties interested
in said improvements in whole or in psrt.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM:
A. Street Improvements, including stabilized base, grading, graveling,
blocktopping, asphalt curb and gutter, 40 feet wide, serving all of the
area described as follows:
1. Filmore Street Northeast, southerly from T.H. No. 100 to 53rd
Avenue and 5* Avenue Northeast between Filmore and Johnson Street.
ESTIMATEDCOST .......... ..............................$ 11,620.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS (AND EACH
OF THEM) IS AS FOLIOWS —
FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A. ABOVE --
All of the lands abutting upon said streets named above or located
in Swanstrom's Court Addition, Beverly Hills Addition, Subdivision
of Lot 10. Auditor's Subdivision No. 94.
South � of Section 24, Township 30, Range 24, County of Anoka.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the
Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953,
Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the
City Charter.
