A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONDITIONS STIPULATED
BY THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley recently submitted plans for
sewerage facilities to the WTater Pollution Control Commission for
approval, and
WHEREAS, a permit for construction of said sewerage facili-
ties has been granted subject to certain conditions,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Fridley, that it will accept the conditions as set forth
by the Water Pollution Control Commission, to -wit:
Section 1. Not to exceed 1400 additional family residential
connections, or the equivalent thereof, will be
- made to all sanitary sewers in the City of Frid-
ley without further permission from the Commis-
sion.
Section 2. That the City Council, through its City Manager,
will submit periodic reports to the Commission
indicating the number of connections approved
since the approval of these plans by the Commis-
sion.
Section 3. That the City Council, through its City Manager,
will submit periodic reports on progress being
made toward providing additional outlets or
treatment capacity for future sewerage flows
from the City.

A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING
A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF CER-
TAIN IMPROVEMENTS: (COMPLETE MUNICIPAL :•dATER SYSTEM)
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed
' to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property
owners affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
as follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and
Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, is hereby received
and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 21st day of June
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the
City of Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public
Hearing on the improvements noted in the Notice at-
tached hereto and made a part thereof by reference,
Exhibit "A ".

3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said im-
provements and each of them as noted in said notice
are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice;
All of the same to be assessed proportionately ac-
cording to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
give notice of such Public Hearing by publishing a
notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City
of Fridley according to law, such notice to be sub-
stantially in the form and substance of the notice
attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".

A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A CHANGE FUND IN THE AMOUNT
OF $4,700.00 `uITHIN THE MUNICIPAL LIQUOR FUND
WHEREAS, the general increase in volume of financial trans-
actions affecting the Municipal Liquor Fund operations of the
City of Fridley has resulted in there being an inconvenience
to have only 83,200.00 Change Fund within the Municipal Liquor
Fund of the City of Fridley, that it now appears to be in the
best interest of the City to raise the amount of this Change Fund
to $4,700.00. -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Fridley, as follows:
That there be and is hereby established a Change Fund in
the Municipal Liquor Fund in the amount of $4,700.00.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 21st day of June,
1960, at ?:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all parties interested
in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction ( in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM:
A. A complete municipal water system throughout the City of Fridley
supplementing and integrating therein the municipal system now in
existence in part of the City of Fridley, and including, but not
I imited to the following:
1. Not less than Four (4) Additional Wells; one elevated Storage Tank;
at least 7%ro (2) Iron Removal Plants; toCethar with pumps and
pumphouses and Tanks; and approximately 2O miles of inter- connecting
supply mains, or major distribution feeder mains; and all appur-
tenances incidental thereto, as are necessary or desirable to pro-
vide to the entire City of Fridle:v an overall system of municipal
water.

2. Approximately three (3) miles of additional watermains, laterals
and service connections to provide a. full and complete municipal
water service to areas of land and properties not so serviced
presently, and also as may improve and provide a bet ter service

FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A. ABOVE:
All of the lands of the City of Fridley, wherever the same may lie
and as are encompassed within the limits of the City of Fridley as may
receive benefit by said improvements or any of them.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the
Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Laws 1953,
Chapter 395, and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the
City Charter.
