A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFI-
CATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, as
follows:
1. That 3t appears in the interest of the City and of the
' property owners affected that there be constructed cer-
tain improvements, to -wit:
a. STREET IMPROVEMENTS, including stabilized base,
grading, graveling, blacktooping or concrete,
curb and gutter, bounded on the North by High-
way #1003 on the East by Outlots 1 and 2 of
Innsbruck Original Proposed Plat, on the South by
Columbia Heights, and on the 'Wrest by Johnson Street
and east line of Marian Hills Addition.
That the Engineer or Director of Public Works is hereby
authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifica-
tions and to tabulate the results of his or their estimates of
the costs of said improvements, and to make a preliminary report
of his or their findings to the Council not later than at their
earliest convenience.

A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS
AND S °ECIFICAiTONS - COMPLETE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, Resolution #69 -1960 of the City Council adopted the
7th day of June, 1960, set the date for hearing on the proposed
improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing at-
tached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, All of the property owners whose Property is liable
to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in
said notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the
Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the re-
quired notice, and the hearing was held and the Property owners
' heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution #69 -1960 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ")
in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other
areas as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be
performed under one or more contracts as may be
deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. Comstock and Davis, Consulting Engineers, are hereby
designated as the Engineer for this improvement.
They shall prepare final plans and specifications for
the making of such improvement.

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota on the 19th day of
July, 1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. to pass upon the pro-
posed assessment for the following named Improvements:
a. W & S Laterals and Service Connections - 1960
Regular Soecial Assessment Fund.
b. W.& S Laterals and Service Connections - 1960
SW -13.
c. Water Main Improvement Project No. 23 (Robert Hall,
Marian Hills).
2. The City Manager shall publish notices of the time and
place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City,
at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting.

EXHIBIT "A"
Project #34 CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HE7EBY GIVEN THAT on the 21st day of June,
1960, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time, and place hear all parties interested
in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction ( in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:
ITEM:
A. A Complete municipal water system throughout the City of Fridley
supplementing and integrating therein the municipal system now in
existence in part of the City of Fridley, and including, but not
limited tothe following:
1. Not less than Four (4) Additional Wells; one elevated Storage Tank;
at least Two (2) Iron Removal Plants; together with pumps and
pumphouses and Tanks: and approximately 20 miles of inter - connecting
supply mains; or major distribution feeder mains; and all appur-
tenances incidental thereto, as are necessary or desirable to pro -
bide tothe entire City of Fridley an over all system of municipal
water.

2. Approximately three (3) miles of additional watermains, laterals
and service connections to provide a full and complete municipal
water service to areas of land and properties not so serviced,
presently, and also as may improve and provide a better service
to lands and areas already receiving some water service.

TOTAL ESTIMATED COST ....................... ..................$2,234,200.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS ( AND EACH
OF THEM ) IS AS FOLLOWS:
FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A:
All of the lands of the City of Fridley, wherever the ssiw say lie and
as are encompassed within the limits of the City of Fridley as may
receive benefit by said improvements or any of them.
All of said lands to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the
Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota laws 1953,
Chapter 398, and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the
City Charter.
