RESOLUTION NO. 139 -1962
RESOLUTION CALLING A PRIMARY ELECTION AND SETTING A DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley:
Section 3. The polling places for said Primary Election shall
be as follows:
A. Ward #1 - Precinct #1
Precinct #2
B. ward #2
C. ward #3
(Woodcrest School)
(Hayes School)
(Fridley Junior High School)
(Fridley City Hall)
Section 4. That the polling places will be open from 7:00
o'clock A.M. to 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said date.
Section 5. That the following named persons are hereby
appointed to act as judges and clerks for said
election, except that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
appoint qualified substitutes in case of inability to act, or
conflict of interest as set forth in Chapter 4, Section 4.05
of the City Charter:

RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS - STREET SURFACING - STREETS 1962 -2B (RIVER EDGE WAY)
WHEREAS, Resolution #124 -1962 of the City Council adopted
the 4th day of September, 1962, set the date for hearing on
the proposed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice
of Hearing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A?, and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is
liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements
(as noted in said notice) were given ten (10) days mailed
notice and published notice of the Council hearing through two
(2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hear-
ing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the
hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE -IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution #124 -1962 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ")
in said notice attached hereto for reference.
That the work above may be consolidated with other.areas
as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be per-
formed under one or more contracts as may be deemed advi-
sable upon receipt of bids.
