A RESOLUTION A14ARDING CONTRACT ON I4ATER IMPROVEMENT, PROJECT
NO. 34 -L•
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA,
as follows:
1. The Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder for
construction of the improvement work designated as:
Water Improvement Project No. 34 -L (Pumping Installation -
We]_ls #3 and #5 is the D.E. Hickey & Company, Inc., 1841
University Avenue, St. Paul, Minresota, whose bid is in the
amount :�f (SCH. "C ") $46,520.00 with completion time in
70 calendar rays. That said bid is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager and Mayor in office on date of execution of the
contract are hereby authorized and directed to enter -nto a
contract with said bidder for and in behalf of the City of
Fridley.

A :RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
V`HE7TAS, the resolutions of the City Council set the date for
hearing on the proposed improvements, as specifically noted in the
several notices of hearing attached hereto for reference as
EXHIBITS "A ", and,
WHEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said
notices) were given ten (10) days notice of the Council hearings, and
the hearings were held and the property owners heard thereon at the
hearings, as noted in said notices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of
Fridley, Minnesota, as follows:
That the following improvements heretofore proposed by Council
resolutions are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
(a) All of the improvements as noted in Resolution No. 121 -
1962, adopted September, 4, 1962, and Resolution No. 176 -
1962, adopted October 15, 1962, and that the work involved
in said improvements as listed above shall hereafter be
designated as:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1962 -4
The plans and specifications shall be prepared by the City
Engineer, Calvin G. Brown, P.E., for such improvements and
each of them, pursuant to the Council resolutions heretofore
adopted, a copy of which clans and specifications shall be
filed with the City Clerk.
The work to be performed under STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
NO. ST. 1962 -4, shall be performed under one contract.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 5th day of Nov-
ember, 1962, at 8:00 P.M., the City Council will meet at the City Hall
in said City, and will at said time and place hear all parties interes-
ted in said improvements in whole or in part.

A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, APPROVAL OF PLANS AND ADVERTISING
FOR BIAS, AND CONFIRMING THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Resolution of the City Council adopted on the 15th
day of October, 1962, ordered a h aring on said improvements and
directed that bids be obtained to provide information at the hearing,
and,
INFEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed were given notice of the Council hearings by publication and
by mail, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon,
at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of
Fridley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements are hereby ordered, and all actions
heretofore taken by the Council, the City Manauer, and the Engineer
with respect thereto are hereby ratified and confirmed.
(a) That the followina noted improvements proposed by Council res-
olutions are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to-wit:
(1) All of the improvements as noted in Resolution No.
121 -1962, adopted September 4, 1.962, and Resolution
No. 176 -1962, adopted October 15, 1962, and that the
work involved in said improvements as listed above
shall hereafter be designated as:

The plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer
are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
