CITY OF FRIDLEY
BID NOTICE: GASOLINE
The City Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, will accept bids
on Gasoline on the 7th day of January, 1963 until 12:00 o'clock noon on
said date at the City Hall r 601 University Avenue N.E. , Fridley, 219
Minnesota ( Tel. 560 - 3450). All bids must meet the minimum requirements
of the specifications. Failure to comply with this section can resolt in
disqualification of the bid.
' Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check,
Cash or Bid ljond in an amount of not less than 5` of the bid, which check,
cash or band shall be forfeited if bidder neglects or refuses to enter
into a Contract, after his bid has been accepted.
The City reserves the right to accept the bid which is determined to
be in the best interests of the City. The City reserves the right to re-
ject any and all bids and waive any informalities or technicalities in
any bid.
The City Council. also reserves the right to consider such factors as
time of delivery or performance, experience, responsibility of the bidder,
past nerfcrmances of similar types of itens or materials, availability of
products and other similar factors that it may determine to be in the
best interest of the City.
Copies of the specifications and general conditions may be examined
in the office of the City Engineer.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly marked
on the outside with "GASOLINE BID ".

RESOLUTION NO. 209 -1962
RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley, as follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to award bid contracts
for the following items or materials:
25,000 pounds (more or less) of Liquid Chlorine
2. A copy of the specifications for the above described items and
materials, together with a proposal for the method of purchase
and the payment thereof have been presented to the Council. by the City
Manager and the same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and
specifications, and the method of acquisition and payment to be reouired
by the City with respect to the acquisition of said items and materials.
3. The purchase of said items and materials as described above shall
be effected by sealed bids to be received and opened by the City
of Fridley on the 7th day of January, 1963. The City Nanager is directed
' and authorized to adv-rtise for t1,e purchase of said items and materials
by sealed bid proposals under notice as provided by law and the Charter
of the City of Fridley, the notice to be substantially in form as that
shown by Exhibit "A" attached `eretc and made a part of by reference. Said
notice shall. be published at least twice in the official newspaper of the
City of Fridley.

BID NOTICE: LIQUID CHLORINE
The City Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, will accept bids
on Liquid Chlorine on the 7th day of January, 1463 until 12 :00 o'clock
noon on said date at the City Hall, 6431 University Avenue N.E., Fridley,
21, Yinresota (Tel. 560 - 3450). All bids must meet the minimum require-
ments of the snecif9_cations. Failure to comply with this section can res-
ult in disqualification of the bid.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's check,
Cash or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid, which check,
cash or bond shall be forfeited into a Contract, after his hid has been
accepted.

RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE 94OUNT OF ASSESSMENTS TO BE LEVIED ON LOTS
7, 8, 9, and 10, BLOCK 1, S14ANSTROMIS COURT ADDITION
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City of Fridley and the
property owner , that the rate of assessments be established on Lots
7, 8, 0, and 10, Block 1, Swanstrom's Court Addition, and,
WHEREAS, these lots abut on a water main line and a sewer area
interceptor line, and,
idHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Fridley that property
abutting on a main line shall be assessed an equivilent lateral
assessment, and
,,7=REAS, the average assessment for the year 1962 for water lateral
was 84.14 ner front foot and for sew,-- lateral X8.12 per front foot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the rate of assessment for
Lots 7, 8, 9, and 10, Block 1, Swanstrom's Court Addition shall be
4.14 ner front foot for water lateral and 88.12 per front foot for
sewer lateral, exclusive of any service line costs.
