RESOLUTION NO. 56 -1962
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE MATTER OF CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVENEI NTS -
(ST(In'' ^TITER. - POLK STREET - LYNDE DRIVE - EX. FROM TRUNK HIGHWAY
NO. 65 TO REGIS DRIVE)
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in
the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners affected
thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fridley, as
follows:
1. That the roreliminary report submitted by Comstock and Davis, Inc.,
Consulting Engineers, is hereby received and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 2nd day of July, 1962 at 8 :00
o'clock P.M. at the City Fall in the City of Fridley for the pur -'
pose of holding a Public Hearing on the improvement noted in the
Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each
of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and areas as noted
in said notice: All of the same to be assessed proportionately accord-
ing tothe benefits received.
!. That the City Y nager is authorized and directed to give notice of
such Public Hearing by publishing a noticethereof in the official
newspaper of the City of Fridley according to law, such notice to be
substantially in the form and substance of the notice attached hereto
as Exhibit "A ".
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 18TH _DAY OF
JUNE, 1962.

FIIMEAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the
Improvements hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICEIS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 2nd day
of July, 1962, at 8:00 o'clock P.11., the City Council will meet
at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place
hear all parties interested in said improvements, in whole or
in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction

All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements
as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the
Courcil all under the following authority, to -wit: Yinnesota Laws
1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with
the City Charter.
