RESOLUTION N0. 4 -1964
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 30 -1963 ENTITLED "ESTABLISHING WORKING
CONDITIONS, WAGES AND HOURS FOR EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED BY THE MUNICIPAL LIQUOR
STORE ".
WHEREAS, Minneapolis Local Joint Executive Board of the Hotel Restaurant
Employees and Bartenders International Union, A.F.L. - C.I.O., Local Unions

No. 152 and 458, as bargaining representative of the employees of the
Municipal Liquor Store of the City of Fridley, has presented to the Council
of the City of Fridley, a resolution relating to the working conditions,
wages and hours for employees of the Municipal Liquor Store of the City
of Fridley, and
WHEREAS, Article XII, Wage Scale of said Resolution No. 30 -1963 is
effective until January 1, 1964, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary at this time to establish a wage scale
for employees employed by the Municipal Liquor Store for the period
January 1, 1964 to January 1, 1965.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley,
that Article XII of Resolution No. 30 -1963 be, and it is hereby, amended
to read as follows, to -wit:
Effective January 1, 1964, all bartenders working forty (40) hours
per week shall receive One Hundred Two and no /100 ($102.00) Dollars per
week. All bartenders working forty -eight (48) hours per week shall receive
One Hundred Thirty and no /100 ($130.00) Dollars per week. All extra bartenders
shall receive Twenty and 40/100 ($20.40) Dollars for work done on a working
day which consists of eight (8) working hours. All waitresses working
forty (40) hours per week shall receive Fifty -five and 60/100 X55.60) Dollars; '
all short hour waitresses shall be paid One and 65/100 ($1.65) Dollars per
hour.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 6TH DAY OF
JANUARY, 1964.
