RESOLUTION NO, 156 -1966
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
EST1MATES vF THE COSTS THER&F: WATER AND SEWER YRuTECT S&,1 70
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as fol-
lows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the pro-
perty owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
a) Sanitary Sewer and Water Mains and Laterals and Service
connections
1) Norton - Avenue from cul de sac east to Central Avenue
b) That petitions relative to said improvements have been
received and filed with the City as follows:
1) Petition No. 24 -1964 relating to Item a (1) above.
2. That Comstock and Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers,
are hereby authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and speci-
fications and to tabulate the results of their estimates of the costs
of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to
completion and ail fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in
connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a prelimi-
nary report of their findings, stating therein whether said improve-
ments are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in
connection with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recom-
mended), including also a description of the lands or area as may receive
benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address
of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area
of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and
each of them); and, upon receipt from said Engineer of said preliminary
report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative
thereto against each of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of
assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and made
available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be
affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as
at any prior time reasonable and convenient.

DAY OF AUGUST, 1964.
