RESOLUTION NO. 198 -196L
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT Y40. 1963 -1
BE IT RESULVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The City Clerk has with the assistance of the Engineers
heretofore selected by this Council for such purpose, calcu-
lated the proper amounts to specially assessed for the
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1963 -1
in said City against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land in accordance with the provisions of law, and has prepared
and filed with the City Clerk tabulated statements in duplicate
showing the proper descriction of each and every let, piece or
parcel of land to be specially assessed and the amount calcu-
lated against the same.
2. Notice has been duly published as required by law that this
Council would meet in regular session at this time and place to
pass on the proposed assessment.
3. Said proposed assessment has at all times since its filing
been open to inspection and copying by all persons interested,
and an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to
present their objections, if any, to such proposed assessment,
or to any item thereof, and no objections have been filed; ex-
cept (none)
Q. The amounts specified in the proposed assessment are changed
and altered, as follows: (none)
5. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces or pai cels
of land enumerated in said proposed assessment as altered and
modified was and is specially benefited by the

in the amount in said proposed assessment as altered and modified
by the corrective roll in the amount set opposite the description
of each such lot, piece or parcel of land, and that said amount so
set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots,
pieces or parcels of land therein described.
6. Such proposed assessment as altered, modified and corrected
is affirmed, adopted and confirmed, and the sums fixed and named
in said proposed assessment as altered, modified and corrected,
with the changes and alterations herein above made, are affirmed,
adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of
said lots, pieces or parcels of land respectively.
7. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shall be
certified to by the City Clerk and filed in his office and shall
thereupon be and constitute the special assessment for
' STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1963 -1
8. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or parcel of land
shall bear interest from the date hereof until the same have been
paid at the rate of six percent (6 %) per annum.
9. Such assessment shall be payable in one, five or ten annual
installments payable on the first day of January in each year, be-
ginning in the year 1965, and continuing until all of said install-
ments shall have been paid, each installment to be collected with
taxes collectable during said year by the County Auditor.

10. The City Clerk is hereby directed to make up and file in
the office of the County : "Uditor of 'noka County a certified
statement of the amount of all such unpaid assessments a_nd the
amount of which will be due thereon on the 1st dart of January
in each year.

NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1963 -1
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City* of Fridley
will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 21st day of September,
1964, at X1:00 o'clock F.M. to hear and pass upon all objections, if
any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the following improve-
ment, to -wit:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1963 -1
The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is
now on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested,
in the office of the Clerk of said City.
At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objec-
tions to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements.
. The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the
construction of street surfacing and bituminous curb and street sur-
facing and concrete curb, in the lands and streets designated as fol-
lows:
1. Van Buren Street
2. 76th avenue
3. Able Street
4. Tennison Drive
5. Taylor Street
6. Gardena Lane and
Gardena Circle
7. Fillmore Street
8. Alden ',,.'ay
76th Avenue to Osborne Road
Van Buren Street to ' -ble Street
73rd avenue to 76th Avenue
Gardena Avenue to Hackmann Ave.
52nd ':venue to North Terminus
All
Lynde Drive to South Terminus
75th Way Northeast to plat of `rear -
son's Craigway Estates, 2nd Addition
The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each
of them is all that land benefited by said improvements or each of
them abutting on or adjacent to the above noted streets.
Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within
the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of
the lands therein contained according to the benefits received.
