RESOLUTION NO. 38 -1964
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 68
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and -of the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
a. Storm sewer and appurtenances in and serving the following- tands:
1) Ely Street - Blocks J and _K, Riverview Heights.
2) Meloland Lakeview.
3) Gardena Meloland Gardens.
4) Moore Lake Hills, 2nd Addition.
b. That petitions relative to said improvements have been received and
filed with the City as follows:

2. That Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers are hereby authorized
and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate
the results of their estimates of the costs of said improvements, in-
cluding every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and
expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the
financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of their findings,
stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether
they can best'be made as proposed, or in connection with some other
improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also
a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom,
and as requested by petitioner to limit assessments for said benefits
to petitioner's property.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the
owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of
lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and
each of them); and, upon receipt from said Engineer of the said pre -
liminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be proposed
relative thereto against each of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of assessments
of the Clerk, shall be furnished tothe Council, and made available for
inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby
at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior
time reasonable and convenient.
