RESOLUTION NO. 101 - 1966
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTI-
MATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1966 -2 (ADDENDUM #2)
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 9h -1966 of the City Council adopted the 20th
day of June, 1966, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as
dpeci.fically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as
Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed *ith the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice) were
given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Fear-
ing through two (2) week publications of the required notice, and the hear-
ing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted
in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT"•RESCLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolu-
tion No. 94 -1966 are hereby ordered to be effected and com-
pleted as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Sidewalks on both sides of the street, including grading,
base and concrete slab, located as follows:
(a) 61st Avenue: University Avenue to 7th Street
(b) 61st Avenue: 7th Street to West Moore Lake
Drive.
(c) West Moore Lake Drive: 61st Avenue to Carol Drive
(d) West Moore Lake Drive: South Property Line of Senior
High School to 61st. Avenue
(West Side Only)
(e) West Moore Lake Drive: Baker Avenue to Highway #65, except
adjacent to L.6, B1.1, Moore Lake
Highlands
(f) 7th Street: 59th Avenue to 61st Avenue
(East Side Only)
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as
one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. The City Engineer, Nasim Qureshi, is hereby designated as
the Engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare final
plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS 18TH DAY OF
JULY, 1966.
