THE MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 28, 1967
The Meeting was called to order by Mayor Kirkham at 11:20 A,M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Kirkham, Harris, Liebl, Samuelson, Sheridan
MEMBERS A$SENT: None
WAIVER OF WRITTEN NOTICE:
MOTION by Samuelson, seconded by Harris, to waive twelve-hour written
notice of this special meeting to consider awarding of bids for the
Melody Manor Park Pro�ect and a Resolution transferring of certain funds.
Upon a voice voCe, there being no nays, Mayor Kirkham declared the motion
carried.
AWARDING OF SIDS FOR MELODY MANOR PARK PHOJECT:
MOTION by Sheridan, seconded by Har'tis, Co award the Lump Sum Bid to
Park Construction Company in the amount of $7,770.D0 and to award the
Alternate Bid to Nodland Construction Company in the amount of $5,102.50.
IIpon a voice vote, there being no nays, Mayor Kirkham declared the motion
carried,
RESOLUTION ��17-1967 TRANSFERRING OF CERTAIN FIINDS:
The City Manager explained that this Resolution would transfer unexpended
appropriations from the various departments of theCity zn the 1966 Budget
in the amount of $20,219.00 to the Flood and Tornado Disaster Expense
Fund. Audit by the Public Examiners office had indicated that there would
be approximately $21,000.00 of expenses incurred follow�ng the floods and
tornado disasters that could not be authorized to Ue paid out of O.E.P.
Funds. This transfer would permit the City to pay the amounts not
authorized.
MOTION by L�ebl, seconded by Harris,
presenCed. Upon a voice vote, there
the motion carried.
ADSOURNMENT;
to adopt Resolution -0k17-1967 as
being no nays, Mayor Kirkham declared
There being no further business at this Special Meeting, Mayor Kirkham
declared the meeting ad�ourned at 11:35 A.M,
