RES 1967-148 - 000108211 201 E y RESOLUTION NO. 148 -1967 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION - SERVICE ROADS - 63RD AND HUGO WHEREAS, it is necessary, advisable and in the public interest that the City of Fridley establish new roads or improve existing roads; AND'rMEREAS, in order to accomplish such purpose it is necessary to acquire the following described land ( See Exhibit Ar attached hereto , owned by (See Exhibit B, attached hereto. AND WHEREAS, a negotiated price for such land has not been satisfactorily arrived at by the parties; . AND WHEREAS, by reason of such failure to arrive at a negotiated figure to sell the lands described in Exhibit A attached hereto, it has become necessary to procure title to such lands by right of eminent domain; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the City of Fridley proceed to procure title to the above described lands under its right of eminent domain and that the City Attorney be and he hereby is directed to file the necessary petition therefor and to prosecute such action to a successful conclusion or until it is abandoned, dismissed or terminated by the City or by the court; that the City Attorney, the Mayor and the Clerk do all things necessary to be done in the commencement, prosecution and successful termination of such action.
