RESOLUTION NO. 92 -1967
RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR
TWO POLICE CARS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City`of Fridley
as follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to
purchase the following items or materials:
TWO POLICE PATROL CARS
2. A copy of the plans and specifications for the
above described items and materials, together
with a proposal for the method of purchase and
the payment thereof have been presented to the
Council by the City tanager and the same are
hereby approved and adopted as the plans and
specifications, and the method of acquisition
and payment to be required by the City with
respect to the acquisition of said items and
materials.
3. The purchase of said items and materials as
described above shall be effected by sealed=
bids to be received and opened at 12:00 o'clock
Noon on the 5th day of June, 1967. The City
Manager is directed and authorized to advertise
for the purchase of said items and materials by
sealed bid proposals under notice as provided by
law and the Charter of the City of Fridley, the
notice to be substantially in form as that shown
by Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of
by reference. Said notice shall be published at
least 15 days or through two (2) publications in
the official newspaper of the City of Fridley.

NOTICE TO BID
POLICE PATROL CARS
The City Council of the City of Fridley will accept bids
on two Police cars on the 5th day of June, 1967, until
12 :00 o'clock noon on said date. All bids must meet the
minimum requirements of the specifications. Failure to
comply with this section can resultin disqualification of
the bid.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid
bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid, which
check or bond shall be forfeited if the bidder neglects
or refuses to enter into a contract, or to furnish a 100%
performance bond after his bid has been accepted.
The City reserves the right to accept the bid which is
determined to be in the best interest of the City. The
City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and
waive all informalities or technicalities in any bid. .
The City Council also reserves the right to consider such
factors as the time of delivery or performance, experience
and responsibility of the bidder, past performance of
similar types of item or materials, availability of replace-
ment parts, and other similar factors that it may determine
in the best interest of the City.
Copies of the specifications and general conditions may be
examined in the office of the City Manager, or copies may
be obtained from his office.
All bids must be submitted in sealed invelopes and plainly -
marked on the outside that the contents is a 8I0 on Police
cars.
