A RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley, as follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to award bid
contracts for the following items or materials:
1. Complete outdoor warning system consisting of:
Six (6) air warning sirens and appurtenant equipment.
Labor and materials to install said outdoor air
warning system.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
THIS 20TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
PUBLIC OUTDOOR WARNING SIRENS AND INSTALLATION
BIDS CLOSE NOVEMBER 14, 1969
CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA
Sealed proposals will be recieved until 12:00 o'clock, Noon,
November 14, 1969, by the City Manager, City of Fridley,
Minnesota, in behalf of the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Minnesota, for the following:
Six (6) Air Warning Sirens, Dual Tone, 220 Volts, 60 Cycle,
Three Phase per Civil Defense Specifications No. 103,
CD -1 -103, Size A, Size B and Size C.
Six (6) Controls, one (1) for each siren.
Six (6) Telephone Relays, One (1) for each Siren.
All equipment must meet specifications as listed on the speci-
fication sheet of the proposal. Also, installation of the above
equipment as listed in the proposal.
Specifications and proposal may be obtained at the City Manager's
Office.
All bids must be on the proposal form furnished by Homer R.
Ankrum, City Manager.
All bids must be accompanied•by a certified check or bid bond
in the sum of 5% of the total amount bid.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to
waive all informalities.
Bids to be addressed to Homer R. Ankrum, City Manager, Fridley,
Minnesota and clearly marked "Bids for Sirens ".
