RESOLUTION NO. 88 -1969
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ESTI.MATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO.
1969 -3 (ADDENDUM #1)
WHEREAS, Resolution #80 -1969 adopted the 19th dayoof May, 1969
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for ref-
erence as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as
noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
#80 -1969 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon
as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvements
bituminous mat, con
lines and services,
located as follows:
Stinson Boulevard:
5th Street:
including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix
:rete curb and gutter, water, sanitary sewer
incidental drainage and other facilities
1,000 feet south of Gardena Avenue to lice ,
Creek Road
From 54th to Interstate 694 outerdrive
Streets in Adams Street Addition:
Washington Street: 57th Avenue to 58th Avenue
Jefferson Street: 57th Avenue to 58th Avenue (No Curbs)
Street on South side of plat: 7th Street to Jefferson (No Curbs)
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under
one or more contracts aS-may,be,deemed advisable:upon receipt of
bids.
3. That the City Engineer, Nasim M. Qureshi, and the City's Consulting
Engineers are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improve-
ment. They shall prepare final plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS DAY OF JUNE, 1969.
