THE MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 24, 1970
Mayor Kirkham called the Special Council Meeting of October 24, 1970 to
order at 8:30 A.M. and commented that by the Council's acknowledgment of
their presence at the set Meeting, they waive their rights to notification
of the Meeting.
ROLL CALL;
MEMBERS PRESENT: Kirkham, Liebl, Breider, Harris, Sheridan
MEMBERS ASSENT: None
METROPOLITAN SEWER BOARD:
MOTION by Councilman Harris to instxuct the City Manager to have the City
Attorney and the fiscal agent proceed with preparing for a class suit with
the Metropolitan Sewer Board relative to the sewer bill for the year 1971.
Seconded by Councilman Sheridan. Upon a voice vote, all voting aye, Mayor
Kirkham declared the motion carried unanimously.
TRAILER PERMIT, JOHN MICKMAN, 1631 66'� AVENUE:
Councilman Sheridan explained that Mr. Mickman's house recently caught fire
and the Mickman family is unable to live in it at the present time. Mr.
Mickman would like to park a tra�.ler beside the house for 30 to 45 days so
they can live in rt while repairing the house. The trailer would be connected
to City water and sewer.
MOTION by Councilman Sheridan to approve the trailer permit for Mr. John
Mickman, 1631 66'� Avenue. 5econded Hy Councilman Liebl. Upon a voice vote,
all voting aye, Mayor Kirkham declared the motion carried unanimously.
ADSOURNMENT:
There bea.ng no further business, Mayor Kirkham declared the Special Council
Meeting of October 24, 1970 ad7ourned at 8:40 P.M.
