RESOLUTION NO. 37 -1971
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: REPAIR, REJUVENATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF LOCKE
LAKE DAM
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 11 -1971 adopted the 18th day of January, 1971
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as
specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as
Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) were given ten
(10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing through
two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held
and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No.
11 -1971 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as
possible to -wit:
Repair, rejuvenation and improvement of Locke Lake Dam
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under one
or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. That Gbmstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 1446 County Road J,
Minneapolis, are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improvement.
They shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making of
such improvement.
