RESOLUTION NO. 52 -1971
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECI-
FICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVE-
MENT PROJECT NO. ST. 1970 -4, ADDENDUM #3
WHEREAS, Resolution #13 -1971 adopted the 18th day of January, 1971
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements;
as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference
as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements '(as noted in said Notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and
the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing,
as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
#13 -1971 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon
as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvement including grading, stabilized base, hot mix
bituminous mat, and other facilities located as follows:
' 78th Avenue: Beech Street to Main Street
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. That Nasi.m M. Qureshi, City Engineer- Director of Planning, Fridley
Minnesota is hereby designated as the Engineer for this improve-
. ment. He shall prepare final plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 3RD DAY OF MAY,
1971.
