RESOLUTION NO. 50 -1972
A Resolution to Advertise for
Towing and Storage Service
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Fridley, Minnesota as follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to award bid contracts
for services described as the Towing and Storage of Police impounded
automobiles and automobiles that are in violation of any provision of the
Fridley City Code or the Minnesota State Statutes.
2. A copy of the contract for the above described services
has been presented to the Council by the City Manager and the same is
hereby approved and adopted as a contract (agreement) and establishes
terms of performance and payment therefor.
3. The purchase of said services as described above shall be
effected by sealed bids to-be received and opened by the City of'
Fridley at 2:00 F.M. on the 28th day of April, 1972. The City Manager
is directed and authorized to advertise for the contracting of said
services by sealed bid proposals under notice as rrovided by law and
the Charter of the City of Fridley. The Notice to be substantially
in form as that shown by Exhibit 'All attached hereto and made a part
by this reference. Said notice shall be published at least 15 days or
through two (2) publications in the official newspaper of Fridley,
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY THIS 17TH DAY OF APRIL, 1972.

NOTICE TO BID
TOWING SERVICE
The City Council of the City of Fridley will open bids at 2:00 p.m, on
April 28, 1972 at the City Hall, 6431 University Ave. Northeast, Fridley,
Minnesota 55432, for the towing and storage of Police impounded automobiles
and automobiles that are in violation of any provisions of the Fridley
City Code or the Minnesota State Statutes. Information as to the terms
and conditions and other data pertaining to the bid may be obtained from
the office of the City Manager at 6431 University Avenue Northeast, Fridley,
Minnesota, 55432. The bid should be in writing, sealed, and on the form
pepared by the City. The envelope is to be marked TOWING BID. The bid
should be delivered or handed to the office of the City Manager on or
before 2:00 p.m. on the 28th days of April, 1972.
