UPGRADED SCHEDULE FOR TAX INCREMENT FIIVANCING PROCESS
FOR CEPJTER CITY PROJECT
As the majority of the City Council has instructed me to expedite the-
approval process for tax increment financing regarding the City Center
Project, attached you will find the revised schedule.
The naticesfor the Housing and Redevelopment Authority public hearing on
June 14, 1979 and the City Council public hearing on May 14, 1979 have
been mailed to the newspaper. We will be looking towaed the City Council
for any further instructions regarding this process at the Monday April 30,
Conference Meeting.
The City Council can change this schedule and instruct us to remove the
public hearing notices scheduled to be published on May 2nd as we can call
the newspaper on the telephone and instruct them so, but they have to have
the written material ahead of time if it is the City Council's desire to
proceed with publication of the notices in the May 2, 1979 newspaper.
