AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: STREET

SEAS, the City Council received a petition from 100 percent of the
property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of
these improvements requesting the construction of these improvements; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. _ - 1982 adopted by the City Council of the City
of Fridley ordered all of these iprovements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolutions are
hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably
possible, to -wit:
Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix
bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer
system, and other facilities located as follows:
64th Avenue University Avenue Service Drive
to Fifth Street
City Hall Parking Lot
Starlite Circle Satellite Lane to the North
That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall
hereinafter be included as part of:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROTECT ST. 1982 -1
2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Public Works Director
for such improvements and each of them, pursuant to the Council
resolutions heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and
specifications are hereto attached and made a part thereof, are
hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be
inserted in the official newpaper advertisements for bids upon the making
of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for three (3) weeks (at least 21 days) ,
and shall specify the work to be done and will state that bids will be
opened and considered at 11:00 a.m. on the 19th day of May, 1982 in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the Public Works Director, and accompanied by a cash
deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five percent
(5 %) of the amount of such bid. That the advertisement for bids for STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1982 -1 shall be substantially in the standard
form.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 19TH
DAY OF APRIL, 1982.
