RESOLUTION NO. 102 - 1984
RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR 1984 SERVICE CONNECTIONS
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 10, 1984, the City
Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of sewer
' laterals, water laterals and service connections; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment roll
has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection.
NCK THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, on the 1st day of October, 1984, at 7:30 P.M. to pass upon
the proposed assessment for
1984 SERVICE CONNECTION ASSESSMENT ROLL
2. The City Clerk shall publish notices of the time and place of meeting in
the official newspaper of the City at least two (2) weeks prior to such
meeting.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON ASSESSMENT FOR
WATER AND SEWER MAINS, LATERALS, AND SERVICE 1
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at
the City Hall in said City on the 1st day of August, 1984, at 7:30 o'clock
P.M., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed
assessments in respect to the following improvements, to -wit:
1984 WATER AND SEWER MAINS, LATERALS, AND SERVICE
NOT HERETOFORE FURNISHED AND AVAILABLE
The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file and
open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the
Clerk of said City.
At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections to the
proposed assessments for each of said improvements.
The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the construction
and furnishing of sewer mains, laterals and service connections in and to the
properties, as follows:

The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them is all
that land benefited by said improvements or each of them and is the same as
those listed above.
Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the above
noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein
contained according to the benefits received.

A property owner may appeal an assessment to the district court by serving
notice of appeal upon the City Mayor or Clerk within thirty (30) days after
adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court
within ten (10) days after service upon the Mayor or Clerk; however, no appeal
may be taken as to the amount of any individual assessment unless a written
objection signed by the afecting property owner is filed with the City Clerk
prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the
hearing.
