A RESOLUTION ENCOURAGING THE GOVERNOR TO PURSUE THE
FINDINGS OF THE GOVERNOR'S COMMISSION TO REVIEW THE
METROPOLITAN WASTE CONTROL COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Governor's Commission to review the Metropolitan Waste Control
Commission has made certain investigations and conclusions based on these
investigations which should improve the service and responsibility of the MCC
to the member communities which it serves; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is one of the communities serviced by the MWCC
which would like to have more input into the decision making process which
effects the rates Fridley residents pay for sewer service,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fridley
urges the Governor to pursue the findings of the commission delegated to
investigate the Metropolitan Waste Commission policies and operating
procedures to help the MWCC become more efficient and responsive to the
communities serviced by it.
