RESOLUTION NO. 4 - 1985
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING TIME AND NUMBER OF COUNCIL MEETINGS
WHEREAS. Section 3.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley requires that the
City Council shall meet at a fixed time not less than once each month; and
' WHEREAS. Section 3.01 of the Charter of the City of Fridley requires that the
Council shall meet at such times as may be prescribed by resolution; and
WHEREAS. It has been the practice of the Council to meet on the first and
third Mondays of each month at 7:30 P.M., for the purpose of holding Council
meetings, except when those dates are impracticable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley that:
1. The Council will hold its Council Meetings on the first and third Monday
of each month except for the month of February when the meetings will be held
on the first and fourth Monday; and except for the month of September when the
meetings will be held on the second and fourth Monday.
2. The Council shall meet at 7:30 P.M. on the above designated days.
