RESOLUTION NO. 24 - 1986
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND APPROVAL OF PLANS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROTECT NO. ST. 1986 -1
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 15 - 1986 adopted on the 24th day of February, 1986,
by the City Council, received the Preliminary Engineering Report and the
petitions for the improvements in this project.
NOW, THEREEDRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 14 -
1986 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably
possible, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous
mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, water and sanitary sewer services,
storm sewer system, and other facilities located as follows:

STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1986 -1
2. The plans and specifications prepared by the Public Works Director for
such improvements and each of them pursuant to the Council resolutions
heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and specifications are hereto
attached and made a part thereof, are heretty approved and shall be filed with
City Clerk.
The Public Works Director shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted
in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making of such
improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published for (3) weeks (at least 21 days) , and shall specify the
work to be done and will state the bids will be opened and considered at 11:00
a.m. on the 15th day of April 1986 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and f iled with the Public
Works Director and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check
payable to the City for five percent (5g) of the amount of such bid. That the
advertisement for bids for STREET IMPROVEMENT ST. 1986 -1 shall be
substantially in the standard form.
