RESOLUTION NO. 60 - 1989
' RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BID FOR MUNICIPAL CENTER
MECHANICALLY ASSISTED CENTRAL FILE SYSTEM
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City, of Fridley as follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to award bid contracts for the
following items or materials.

2. A copy of the specifications for the above described items and materials
have been presented to the Council by the City Manager and the same are
hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications; payment will
be contingent upon final inspection and approval of the project by the
City.
3. The purchase of said items and materials as described above shall be
effected by sealed bids to be received and opened by the City of Fridley
on August 1, 1989 at 11:00 a.m. The City Manager is directed and
authorized to advertise for the purchase of said items and materials by
' sealed bid proposals under notice as provided by law and the Charter of
the City of Fridley, the notice to be substantially in form as that shown
by Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part of by reference. Said
notice shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City of
Fridley.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
MUNICIPAL CENTER MECHANICALLY ASSISTED
CENTRAL FILE SYSTEM
Sealed bids will be received and publicly opened by the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota at the Municipal Center Lunchroom on August 1, 1989 for a
MECHANICALLY ASSISTED CENTRAL FILE SYSTEM and CENTRAL FILE SUPPLIES.
All in accordance with the Central File System and Central File Supply
specifications. The central file specifications may be examined in the Finance
Department and copies may be obtained for the Contractor's individual use by
contacting Bill Champs, 6431 University Avenue NE, Fridley, Minnesota 55432,
tel. 572 -3524.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Cash or Bid
Bond and made payable without conditions to the City of Fridley, Minnesota, in
an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. Check, cash or bond
shall be forfeited if bidder neglects or refuses to enter into contract, after
his bid has been accepted.
The City reserves the right to accept the bid which is determined to be in the
' best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all
bids and waive any informalities or technicalities in any bid received without
explanation.
The City also reserves the right to consider such factors as time of delivery
or performance, experience, responsibility of the bidder, past performance of
similar types of items or materials, availability of products or other similar
factors that it may determine to be in the best interests of the City.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly marked on the outside
with BID OPENING FOR MUNICIPAL CENTER CENTRAL FILE SYSTEM.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.
