WHEREAS, Resolution No. 35 - 1992 adopted on the 6th day of April, 1992, by the City
Council, ordered the preliminary plans, specifications and estimates of the costs
thereof for the improvements in this project.
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in the interest of
the City of Fridley and the property owners affected thereby.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by John G. Flora, Public Works Director,
is hereby received and accepted.
2. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of
each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as may be
proposed to be assessed for said improvements, and calculate estimates of
assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them as
noted in said notice are all the lands and areas as noted in said notice: All
of the same to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received.
4. That the estimates of assessments of the Clerk shall be available for inspection
to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public
hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and
convenient.
5. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to give notice thereof in the
official newspaper of the City of Fridley and by mailed notice to all the
property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these
improvements according to law, such notice to be substantially in the form and
substance of the notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".
6. That this Council meet on the 4th day of May, 1992, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fridley
Municipal Center Council Chambers at 6431 University Ave., N.E., Fridley, MN,
for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the improvement noted in the
Notice attached hereto and made a part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ".
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 6TH DAY OF APRIL,
1992.

deemed it expedient to receive evidence pertaining to the improvements
hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THhT on the 4th day of May, 1992, at 7:30
p.m. the city Council will meet at the Fridley Municipal Center Council
Oiambers, 6431 University Ave., N.E., Fridley, MN, and will at said time and
place hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the lands and
streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat,
concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, bikeway, storm sewer system, water and
sanitary sewer, landscaping, and other facilities located as follows:
