OF NOVEMBER 7, 2002
The Regular Meeting of the Fridley City Council was called to order by Mayor Lund at 7:30
p.m.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
Mayor Lund led the Council and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Lund, Councilmember Barnette, Councilmember Billings,
and Councilmember Bolkcom.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Councilmember Wolfe.
ADOPTION OF AGENDA:
MOTION by Councilmember Councilmember Billings to adopt the agenda as presented.
Seconded by Councilmember Bolkcom.
UPON A VOICE VOTE, ALL VOTING AYE, MAYOR LUND DECLARED THE
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
OPEN FORUM, VISITORS:
There was no response from the audience under this item of business.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. RECEIVE AND CERTIFY THE STATEMENT OF CANVASS FOR THE CITY
OF FRIDLEY FROM THE GENERAL ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 5, 2002.
Ms. Skogen outlined the results of the election in the City of Fridley.
MOTION by Councilmember Steve Billings to receive the Statement of Canvass. Seconded by
Councilmember Barnette.
UPON A VOICE VOTE, ALL VOTING AYE, MAYOR LUND DECLARED THE
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

MOTION by Councilmember Billings to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Councilmember
Bolkcom.
