Councilman Starwa'tt said he was not able to gefi out and look at the property and 6e '

Nlrs. Marlen Miller explained the home to be a rambler and they v�ere planning to
construct the addition that would make the dwelling an "L" shape rambler. .She
explained that this would be the only way that a double garage cou]d be constructed
ort the property. She further co�nnented that the area property owners had no objections
to the request. �. • �
Mayor Nee asked if the applicaats could place the canstructian in the back of the .
existing home. Mr. Ptiller said there is dnly 40 feet in the back at the present
time. He said there would be•room for only one dr9veway unless the existing garage'
� would be removed. .
MOTION by Councilman Starwalt to continue the request for the variance by Mr. Marlen�
Miller until the July 7, 1975 meeting of the Council. Seconded by Councilman Fitzpatrick
Mayor N�e said as it apprears to him, there had not been any objections to the cons-

his area and questioned if some agreement should not be obtained in writtiwg from the

It was brought to the City's attention and confirmed by an or�site
inspection on May 8, 1980 that the above listed property was being
maintained in violation of Section 113, of the Fridley City Code,
Refuse Disposal.
Sai.d ins�ction found assorted garbage and refuse on the ground
adjacent to the refuse storage area. In addition it was observed
that there was an insufficient munber of 30 gallon, metal, garbage
cans, with covers, to store all garbage and refuse inside between
weekly collections. This is creating a cluttered ap,pearance and a
detractant to the neighborhood.
Therefore, the City must require you to dispose of in a sanitary manner,
e.g. a sanitary landfill, all of the refuse and debris found on this
property. Finally, you will also be required to provide and maintain
approved metal, 30 gallon, garbage cans, with covers; weekly pick-up of
all waste materials from your residence; and prevent further accinnul.ations.
A reinspection will be conducted on or about May 19, 1980 to determine

Dear Mr. Meinen:
On January 30, 1995.a second inspection of the property at 7349-51
Able Street N.E. confirmed that the following item still does not
comply with City Code:
1. Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles must be currently
licensed/street operable and kept on a hardsurface parking
area if stored outside. I observed a vehicle fRDS218) located
in the rear yard which does not fully meet these requirements.
A final inspection to c�etermine compliance will'be:conducted on or
about February 20, 1995. You should arrange to complete an
approved plan for compliance before that date. Should this
inspection confirm that.this deficiency still exists, legal action
will be approved. If corrective action cannot be completed by this
time, contact me to coordinate a schedule to complete this
requirement.

Dear Mr. Meinen:
The City of Fridley has established a City Code for the purpose of
promoting a pleasant and attractive suburban environment. A recent
inspection of the property at 7349-51 Able Street N.E. revealed
that not all Code requirements are presently being met. Listed
below is an item which does not comply wi,th the City Code:
1. Fridley City Code requires that all vehicles must be currently
licensed/street operable and kept on a hardsurface parking
area if they are stored outside. I observed a vehicle (RDS218)
located in the rear yard which does not fully meet these
requirements.
Your prompt attention in correcting this situation would greatly
assist us in helping make Fridley a better place to live. An
inspection will be conducted on or shortly after January 30, 1995
to determine compliance.
