Mayor Nee asked if the applicants could place the consiruction in the back of the
existing home. Mr.• Ptiller said tt►ere is dnly 40 feet in the back at the present �
time. He said there would be•room for only one driveway unless the existing garage'

MOTION by Councilman Starwalt ta continue the request for the variance by Mr. F9arlen
Miller until the July 7, 1975 meeting of the Council. Seconded by Councilman Fitzpatrick.
Mayor N�e said as it apprears to him, there had not been any objections to the con5-..
structi�n from the neighbarhood. He explained that he would not support th4s in •
his area and questioned if some agreement should not be obtained in writting from the
abutting property owners. -
UPQN A VOICE VOTE, ALL voting aye, Mayor Mee declared the motion carried unanimously.
The Public Works Director said the Board of Appeals had recortenended approval of �he
., request. He called the Council's attention to page 14-G of the agenda bookTet.
R representative of Porifolio Realty indicated that he was trying to organize the '
area and there was no place set aside for garages. .
Councilman Breider asked if there was a'request for fencing between the garages_
The representative explained tiat he r�ould go along r�ith the three foot setback. Ne
explained there was some concern that trash would gathar in between the taio cons- .
tructions. . �

Councilman Breider said he believed the construction of�the garages'would make a real
difference to the area. Councilman Breider suggested checking of the area tQ insure �
. that there is na garbage in bett,reen the garages. �

and approve the repuest for the variances as requested by Portfolio Realty. Seconded

On August 17, 1987, reinspection of the abave ref_erenaed property revealed:
correctian of vialations at s�me properties; continued violations at athers;
and add.itimal vialations not revealed in past inspections. In response to
your meno dated Sept�nber 8, 1987, the property was reinspected on September
10. 1987. This inspection revealed continued problems with poor lawn
maintenance, outside storage, disposal of refuse outside the required
oontairer, and j�nked or u�.lioensed vehicles. First and sevond notices were
sent out on Sept�nber 11, 1987, with a reinspection date of September 28,
1987, (See Enclosed) . Carbon copies of all notices were sent to the
landla�a, Eki Chies.
7he ladm mairitenanoe issue was forwarcied to Curt Dahlberg, Weed Inspector.
Mr. Dahl.berg's inspectian revealed no violatiaaz. None of the lawns are in
excess of ten �10) irxhes as required by the oode. 7Yie Caa�m�ity Developnent

Dear John and Merrie Kisch:
it has come to my attention the rental unit at 7447/7449 Able St. does not have the
proper rental license nor will receive a rental license until Building Code issues have been
resolved. Unfortunately Section 8 rental assistance cannot be approved for KoRin
Landroche for September 1, 2Q05 without the city licensing the unit for occupancy and
the HQS inspection passing.
The Section 8 Program will begin working with you once all Building Code issues have
been remedied and the unit passes the Section 8 HQS inspection. An inspection report
was supplied to your monagement company August 9, 2005.

Dear John and Merrie Kisch:
It appears that each 2 bedroom, one bath unit, at 7447R449 Able Street, has
been converted to a four bedroom finro bath unit. It was my understanding from
discussions with the City Building Official, Ron Julkowski that there have been no
inspections requested. Therefore items such as electrical wiring, plumbing and
gas piping, wall framing, etc. would need to be revealed to assure building
integrity and the safety of the individuals within.
Beyond Building Code issues, there are rental licensing issues. If the owner
applied for a new rental license the city would not be issuing them one until they
have complied with all Building Code requirements. This is a serious matter. If it
is your intention to rent the property, you need a rental license and that will not
be issued until the Building Code matters are resolved.
AS A RESULT, YOUR PROPERTY WILL BE POSTED ON FRIDAY, AUGUST
19, 2005. NO ONE SHALL OCCUPY EITHER UNIT UNTIL ALL BUILDING
AND RENTAL LICENSING MATTERS HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. PLEASE
ALERT ANYONE WHO MAY BE OCCUPYING THE UNITS TO EVACUATE
IMMEDIATELY. LEGAL RECOURSE WILL BE PURSUED FOR ANY
VIOLATION OF THIS ORDER.
