Dear Mr. McCarthy:
We were called to 7544 Alden Way to cheak the front yard for ma,intenance
and sodding.
We visited the premises on August 28, 1974 and found the front yard to
be a growth of weeds that exceed the maximum height allowed in the City of
Fridley.
Upon returning to the office and checking your file, we found that the
home has not had final inspections on any of the work. We need finals on the
heating, plumbing, electrical, and structural work, and you are also lacking
a heating permit.
We understand that you recently have sold the property to Mr. Glen
Conradson and it may be his obligation to take care of the front yard but
the itezns we feel you or your subcontxactors are responsible for are as
follows:
l. Olson Plumbing must call for and arrange for a final inspection on
� the plumbing work.
2. Whoever the mechanical (heating) contraator was must acquire a
permit and get a final inspection on the heating system.
3. You must arrange to have our electrical inspector gain access to the
structure for a final inspection.
4. You must arrange, after all the above is completed, to have our
building inspector gain access to the structure for a final inspection.

SECTION 2. The Inspector of Buildings sha11, before issuing permits far the
erection of any building or structure, or fax any addition to any existing
building ox struct-ure, or for any alteration or repairs to any exisCing
building or structure, upon application therefore, require the payment by the
applican� for such"permit of fees to the amount herein below set forth and in
the manner herein provided to-wit:
UIVZFORM BUILDING CODE: Type 1, 2& 4-$2.15 for each one thousand cubic
fee�, or fraction thereof, in such cubical contents. Type 3& 5-$1.85 for
ea.ch one thousand cubic feet.
ADDITIONAL TNFORMATION
For the purpose of computing fees foz building permits, the cubical cantents
of any building or addition, is detei�ined by multiplyirg the gxou�d area
covexed from a point six {6) inches below the floor line of the basement
or the cellax to the average heights of the upper surface or to �he av,erage�
�height of the roof surface of the main gable of a pitched roof.
For repairs or alterations to an existing structure, the fee shall be at the
rate of $3<00 par each five hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thexeof in
the cost of a11 proposed �eorke
In no case shall the fee charged for any permit as set forth in Section 2 be
less than $5.00. ,
VERIFICATION OF FOUNDATION
NOTE: Permits for eonstxuction will be issued a minimum of 24 hours from the
time of appZication, to allow for pxoper review of the proposed structura and
of the construction site.
A Certified Suxvey of the lot, shawing the location of the foundation, �nce it
ha� been constructed, will be xequixed before proceeding with the fxaming.
CERTIFICkTE OF OCCUPANCY
Agplication for a Certiif3cate of Occupancy shall be ma.de ten (1Q) da.ys prior
to the use or occupancy of any structure for which a building permit has been
