Mr. Ames explained that the kitchen was on the side of the hoi�se that he
would like to put the attached garage, and theretore, he would not like to
put it on the opposite side of the house. .
Mr. T,eroy Henderson, 7581 Alden Way, was present and explained that he
objects to the proposal. There was further discussion on this matter.

the objection, but because the garage is not in line �aith the buildings

MAX SALITERMAN - 61ST AVENUE �ROSSOVER:

Mr. Wyman 5mith, Attorney for Mr. Salitermdn, said �hat he would like to
discuss a. 20 foot long streEt problem. He said that 61st Avenue has been
put in and it is a good street, but it comes out to the frontage road
that runs from Shorewood to 63rd Avenue and does riot connect to T.H. �'�65.
He said that northbound trafiic cannot slip onto T.H. ��b5. He said he
was not talking abuut the crossover as that zaas another item. Mr. Smith
said that he and Mr. Saliterman had talked to the District Engineer oi
the Highway Department and had been tald that this entrance seems to
have bean lost in the shuffle. He said that whether the City or State
put in this 20 ;oot piece of street, it should be done,
Councilman Harris said that previously the State had wanted to wait
until studies taad been made of left and right turn lanes, but if this
is no problem to them nota, there should be nc� problem.
Mr. James Gibson, 6389 Pierce Street N.E., said he had been asked 'by
several people to reprzsent them rebarding th.is project. He said that
in discussion taith Mr. Saliterr�an he has found L-tiat a prior Council
made a comt�it�nent to Mr. Saliterman to put this road rhrou�h. He �
sai.d that this area had been desi�ned a.s a business arca and to prornote
business, there has to be means to get the tr.affic off T,H, ��65 with as
little trouble as possible, and he asl:ed tEi� Gouncil to rEquest �hat the

Dear Ms. Kopp:
It has been called to our attention that you recently had
central air installed at your home located at 7571 Alden Way.
The compressor unit was installed on a pad at the north side
of your home and apparently is causing some aggravation to
your neighbor living north of you due to the noise it is
generating.
While the City has no code governing the location of these
units, you may consider constructing some sort of fence or
other noise abating object between the unit and your north
lot line.
